Great Northwest Day at the Capitol^SM exists to raise awareness about northwest Missouri statewide, to legislators, decision makers and leaders in and around the State Capitol. Every year approximately three hundred guests are invited join approximately two hundred fifty to three hundred advocates from the Great Northwest for a fun and informational event. Beginning with an introduction on the House and Senate floor, the start of the first day is followed by educational sessions at lunch, an educational roundtable, and a phenomenal event celebration that showcases each sponsoring community. The GNW Day event closes on the second day with a motivational breakfast session. Now in it’s 10th year and attended by decision makers representing all corners of the state, Great Northwest Day remains the go-to event of the legislative season.
